Pink-Filled Komen Day Fun at Six Flags Great Adventure
Susan G. Komen Central and South Jersey kicked off MORE THAN PINK Walk season with a celebration filled with pink at Six Flags Great Adventure on June 2, 2018. The day was captured by Anthony and Dom DiFilippo of Phast Photos — check out some of the photos and videos below!
Guests of all ages took part in the surprises for the day, including a mobile scavenger hunt encouraging participants to take pink selfies, find pink props in the park and learn about National Cancer Survivors Day. Scavenger hunt winners had a chance to collect some Komen CSNJ swag!
The very best surprise? Incredible volunteers from TD Bank putting on the ultimate flash dance routine! After weeks of rehearsal and coordination, these dedicated volunteers performed flash mob choreography by Robert Schultz, Flash Mob America to Stand By You, Rachel Platten.
We are grateful to the amazing volunteers and Walk committee members that truly brought the excitement to this event, and to the staff at Six Flags Great Adventure for making Komen Day come to life.
